Presentation Guidelines

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL SESSION

LECTURE TIME

The duration of each oral presentation is 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute discussion period.
During the Best Poster Session, each presenter will have 4 minutes for their presentation and 1 minute for questions.

TECHNICAL GUIDELINES

  • PowerPoint: Please ensure that your are using provided AA PPT template that can be downloaded here.
  • In accordance with the guidelines outlined in the EACMME rules, it is required to include a disclosure slide in the presentation.
  • Movies/videos: Please take steps to compress your videos. We can only accept movies created as MPGs, WMVs, or with the following AVI codecs: H.264, MPEG-4 (Divx, Xvid, or WMVs), Indeo, Cinepack, Techsmith.
  • Mandatory second slide is disclosure of conflicts
  • Please note that use of individual PC laptops is not permitted.

    Mac users please note that presentations from Mac computers are possible only with prior arrangement with technical room staff and appropriate adapter to HDMI.

AT THE SYMPOSIUM
Slide submission:

Presenters should submit their presentation to the technician in the hall at least one session before their scheduled talk. Advance submission via email is not possible.

AT THE SESSION:
Please arrive at your respective meeting room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session. Take time to familiarize yourself with the setup at the lectern, meet your chairperson, and address any issues with the technician.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PREPARATION

POSTER PRESENTATION
Authors are required to be in attendance at their respective poster boards during the poster session on Friday, 15:55–16:25.

POSTER SIZE
The presenting authors are requested to personally bring their posters to the conference rather than mailing them ahead. The required dimensions are 90 cm (width) by 140-180 cm (height) - size chart.

At the top of the poster, please provide the title of the paper, names of the authors and their affiliations, all in bold lettering of about 3 to 4 cm in size. Please note that artwork and lettering should be large and clear enough to ensure that the poster is legible from a distance of 1.5 m.

POSTER NUMBERS
Poster numbers will be provided by the conference and available on your poster board.
Scotch tape will be available to facilitate attaching posters to the boards.
